working in an event office we are privy to theming companies and floral suppliers weekly, all of which are usually based in Sydney.  part of my job is knowing what suppliers are out there, so while i was researching the web i stumbled across a beautiful site by Sinikka Floral Design based in Melbourne.

sticking to the topic of graphic design, our course revolved around creating a portfolio of work that was to be used to show off to future prospective employees, so since leaving the course in december last year, i have now uploaded these to a fantastic creative industry website the loop.

so without further ado, here is the labour of my love, a year of creative thinking...

my first course...

now 31, i left year 12 quite some time ago... after leaving school i had absolutely no idea what it was i wanted to do with my life so entered the workforce and have jumped from admin job to admin job and now am based at Randwick Racecourse!

still i was in a quandary with a million different possibilities running around in my head, including a family and an upcoming wedding to my gorgeous partner andrew (that is to appease him as i have been ignoring him whilst writing this blog).

one thing that i alway knew was that i wanted to do something creative but was always scared of not being good enough but just last year i completed a graphic design certificate which leads me into my first favourite blog from Shillington College, which has just been updated, check out the new site below!

the beginning...

when i decided to start this blog the question from all of my friends and family was the same "what are you going to talk about?"

good question!

today i was looking at all of the beautiful websites, images and food on the internet, all the things i love.  i started to wonder what a collection of things that i love would look like in one place, and that is where i got the idea to start a blog.

i am going to build a page of all of the images, webpages, recipes and blogs that i enjoy following, watching, cooking and reading. 

i hope you get as much inspiration from these images as i do!
